Ingredients:
- 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet
Set the butter in a small saucepan and melt it over medium-low heat
For another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the butter turns golden brown and smells nutty, keep cooking and stir it every now and then
Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit
Whisk the baking soda, salt, and gluten-free flour together in a bowl
In a different large bowl, mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and brown butter together until everything is well mixed
To the butter mixture, add the egg and vanilla extract
Beat the mixture until it is smooth
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined
The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough balls about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet that has been prepared
When the edges are golden brown, its done baking
Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way
