LumberJack Baked Beans

A hearty, flavorful baked bean recipe with a hint of charm from LumberJack. Ideal for get-togethers or a hearty family dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cans 15 oz each navy beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F

The drained navy beans, ketchup, molasses, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, minced garlic, chopped onion, and crumbled bacon should all be combined in a big bowl

Blend thoroughly

To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning

Spread the bean mixture evenly in a baking dish after transferring it there

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the top is caramelized and the beans are bubbly, in a preheated oven

Before serving, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool slightly

If desired, add more bacon as a garnish
