This Keto-friendly twist on the classic Cuban sandwich packs all the flavors into convenient skewers, perfect for snacking or serving as appetizers.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb deli ham, sliced thin
- 1 lb roasted pork loin, sliced thin
- 1/2 lb Swiss cheese, sliced thin
- 24 dill pickle slices
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper to a small bowl and mix them together using a whisk
This will make the marinade
Put deli ham and roasted pork loin in a large bowl and mix them together
Cover the meat with the marinade and toss it around to coat it
For at least 30 minutes, let it sit
On each skewer, put a slice of ham, a slice of pork loin, a slice of Swiss cheese, and a slice of pickle
To make the dipping sauce, mix the mustard and mayonnaise in a separate small bowl
Dip the Cuban sandwich skewers in the sauce that is on the side
