Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup sweet corn kernels
- 4 slices smoked Gouda cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 2 scallions, finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons chili butter see instructions below
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, sweet corn kernels, chopped scallions, salt, and pepper
Mix until well combined
Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness
During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of smoked Gouda cheese on each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese
While the burgers are grilling, prepare the chili butter by mixing 4 tablespoons of softened butter with a pinch of chili powder
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or two until they are lightly browned
Assemble the burgers by placing a cheesy burger patty on the bottom half of each bun, spreading chili butter on the top half of the bun, and sandwiching them together
Serve your Sweet Corn Grilled Cheese Burgers hot and enjoy
